Collins, of the firm of Dorgan and Co., is up frum Albany looking after business natters connected with the company's timber interest in this county. Walter Mee was down from Howard the latter part of the week taking in the fair, and incidentally getting his valise that was advertised as found in a lecent issue of ilie Joi'KNAl.. , F. M. Brown, whose wife is a niece of Mrs. W. H. Parker, passed through here enroute to Spokane from Gazell, California. He will go by way of the John Day and Pendleton.
